I get to know you: your lifestyle, preferences, body type and style goals. By combining your personal story with my experience and knowledge, I help you create a unique and coherent personal style using clothes you already have in your closet and recommending pieces that will fill the gaps. I also spend time understanding your spending preferences and budget, so you have a comprehensive solution to your personal styling needs by the end of our time together. After your appointments, I'm always available by text and email should you need a second opinion or a little style cheerleading. 

HOW WILL YOUR SERVICES SAVE ME TIME AND MONEY?

 I can show you how to:

  • Identify the items worth spending extra on and what you can confidently spend less on (without looking like you spent less)

  • Ensure items are not sitting, unworn in your closet for years and your money isn’t wasted

  • Develop a strategy for shopping so you don’t come home from the store and realize you already have five black sweaters

  • Leverage the vast array of resources and information I have as a stylist regarding color, fit, brands and silhouettes that will flatter your body

  • Gain access to exclusive discounts and private events at luxury retailers and in and around Boston

  • Realize new options without feeling overwhelmed

WHY CAN'T I JUST DO A SHOPPING TRIP OR A CLOSET EDIT AS A NEW CLIENT?

Here’s why: My experience with lots of clients has taught me that all of the elements are necessary if you're looking for real solutions to your closet frustrations and not merely a quick fix. If I only do an edit, you'll be left with a diminished closet and no plan for acquiring the missing pieces. If we just go shopping, you won't realize all the amazing outfits we could create by combining your new pieces with your old favorites. My clients are always amazed at the new ways they learn to wear items they've had hanging in their closet for years but could never quite make work. As a new client, I need to get a sense of your style and one of the best way to do this is to see what’s already in your closet and what you’re drawn to naturally.

IT'S GETTING CLOSE TO MY APPOINTMENT AND I'M GETTING NERVOUS. I'M CONSIDERING BACKING OUT. IS THIS NORMAL?

YES! Totally normal. How often does a stranger come over to hang out in your closet? I totally get it!

 

I often hear from first-time clients that they get a little nervous before our appointment. I assure you that there is no reason to be nervous and it's totally okay if you are. My job is never to judge you (they're just clothes, after all!). My mission and passion is to make my clients feel empowered and to begin to trust their own style instincts—maybe for the first time or perhaps again after a long time. I view my clients as partners and think of our work together as a collaboration focusing on your needs and goals.  And yes, you can always keep your old clothes.

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT TERMS?

In order to secure an appointment on my calendar, there is an initial deposit of half of the total service cost for the Wardrobe Refresh and my Wardrobe Overhaul services. The second and final payment is due the day before the date of our final meeting for both services.

 

If you are interested in purchasing the Capsule Styling package, you must pay in full for the service in order to secure an appointment date. 

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED IN THE COST OF CONSULTATION?

For the most part, yes.  All services include stylist's travel within the Boston Metro, D.C. Metro and most of the Northern Virginia area. Please contact me if you are outside that area and have questions about additional travel costs.

 

PARKING: Please note that parking fees are not included during the in-home portion of your consultation. Please be sure you have made the approporiate arrangements prior to your consult. Costs associated with parking for in-home consults will be included in your final invoice. 

I LIVE OUTSIDE THE BOSTON AREA. WILL YOU TRAVEL?

Absolutely! I am available to travel to clients who live in the United States and abroad. A travel fee will be added to the cost of styling services. Simply fill out my contact form here and I will be in touch.

I'M A STYLIST. CAN I ASSIST WITH YOU? 

I'm not accepting applications for an assistant at this time. I occasionally offer 1:1 coaching for personal stylists looking to take their business to the next level. If you are interested, please get in touch to get full program details.
